2,620 gross square metres [gsm] / 28,200sq. ft. of new construction and 1,362 gsm / 14,650 sq.ft. renovation

 

Renovation to the existing Victorian house and construction of a new three storey addition for increased space for students, faculty and staff. The new structure will be in keeping with existing residential scale and detail and sensitive to heritage considerations. Landscape improvements are also part of the program.

 

Opening date:   
Spring 2008
What's in it:   

A new entrance lobby, faculty and student offices and support space. The renovations to the original house will provide for new windows, wiring, lighting, heating and air-conditioning systems.

 

Primary users:   
Faculty and students in the Department of Economics, one of the top 10 publicly funded economics departments in the world.
