First phase of the university's Open Space Plan to restore and enhance the historical precinct of the St. George campus

What's in it:   

The reconstruction of King's College Road to create a tree-lined ceremonial boulevard leading to King's College Circle. The Knox College and Sir Daniel Wilson pedestrian walkways have been made into 'greenways' with decorative paving and planting.


The Alumni Gates at College Street signal entry to the campus and King's College Road. Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the U of T Alumni Association, the Alumni Gates were funded through the generosity of alumni donors
around the world. They were officially opened as part of the Homecoming celebrations, Saturday, Oct. 4/03.
